The growth rate of the Hispanic population of Venezuelan origin in the United States. This includes everyone who self-identifies as Hispanic of Venezuelan origin which is nearly everyone born in Venezuela and their descendants in the United States
Immigration status
This is the number of Venezuelans who have been granted LPR status since 2006. After 3 years if they obtained it through marriage with a US citizen or after 5 years through employment, asylum or other status they can apply for citizenship. Most of those who obtained it before 2014, likely already became US citizens. In 2019, more Venezuelans than ever obtained LPR status and this figure is likely to keep growing as those who have arrived become eligible for permanent residency.
