Dear Members of Congress,

I am writing to express my strong support for the Venezuelan Adjustment Act, a necessary legislative initiative that seeks to provide eligible Venezuelans with the opportunity to adjust their status to lawful permanent residents of the United States.

The Venezuelan-American community has made significant contributions to the cultural, economic, and social fabric of this country. As a business owner and employer, I can personally attest to the value and dedication of Venezuelan professionals in the U.S. workforce.

Today, we proudly employ individuals, of whom are of Venezuelan origin.

These employees have demonstrated exceptional skills, work ethic, and professionalism.

The contributions of the Venezuelan community to the U.S. economy are undeniable. Many business owners, including myself, recognize their indispensable role in multiple industries. At a time when labor shortages are affecting businesses nationwide, particularly in key sectors such as construction, agriculture, healthcare, and food distribution, Venezuelan professionals are filling critical gaps and driving economic growth.

Moreover, this adjustment would allow Venezuelan professionals to integrate into highly skilled industries, including medicine, medical research, technology, media, engineering, and science—fields essential to maintaining the United States' position as a global leader in innovation and development.

It is important to highlight that many Venezuelans who arrived before the current dictatorship have already become permanent residents or U.S. citizens, and their positive impact on American society is well-documented. The Venezuelan community continues to be a vital economic force and a testament to the American Dream.

For these reasons, I strongly urge your support for the Venezuelan Adjustment Act. This legislation is not just about providing stability to a deserving community—it is also an opportunity to strengthen the U.S. economy, support American businesses, and reinforce the nation's commitment to humanitarian values.

It's important to note that most Venezuelans who arrived at the USA prior to the dictatorships are now permanent residents and/or citizens, and their impact and contributions to the fabric of America are known and documented.
