At a time when labor shortages are affecting businesses nationwide, particularly in key sectors such as construction, agriculture, healthcare, and food distribution, Venezuelan professionals are filling critical gaps and driving economic growth.

Moreover, this adjustment would allow Venezuelan professionals to integrate into highly skilled industries, including medicine, medical research, technology, media, engineering, and science—fields essential to maintaining the United States' position as a global leader in innovation and development.

It is important to highlight that many Venezuelans who arrived before the current dictatorship have already become permanent residents or U.S. citizens, and their positive impact on American society is well-documented. The Venezuelan community continues to be **a vital economic force* and a *testament to the American Dream.

For these reasons, I strongly urge your support for the Venezuelan Adjustment Act.
